When a person, corporation, or governmental agency gives you a problem or forces you into a controversy, one way for you to protect your life, liberty, or property is through an attorney. Attorney Baird defends clients against civil claims and criminal charges or files lawsuits to assert and protect clients’ rights, depending on the particular circumstances and facts of their cases. Before advising you of your options, Attorney Baird will meet with you personally for a confidential consultation.

The purpose of an initial consultation is for you to describe what has happened and to give Attorney Baird information so she is able to understand your case. The purpose is not to render a definitive legal opinion as it may be impossible to fully assess a matter within the time allotted for a consultation or with the information and documents that you provide. However, Attorney Baird will advise you at an initial consultation of various legal options and their cost.

To prepare for your initial consultation, review the attached Client Consultation Form. Although each consultation with a potential client is different, many of the areas covered in the form are areas that will be covered at your consultation. After the initial consultation, if there is a mutual agreement between you and Attorney Baird that she is the right attorney for you and your case, she will draft a Legal Representation and Fee Agreement for your review.

Once such an Agreement is signed, Attorney Baird immediately commences work on the matter. Attorney Baird personally performs all legal services for her clients and appears with them at all proceedings.
